D-Box Slalomer Exercise
Slalomer - Clockwise

Purpose: Practice basic skills, primarily left right hand coordination, sense
of depth, speed, strategy and handling of instruments.

How to execute: The exercise starts with the "needle" in the "needle basket." All ten gates
shall be included. The closest first and then clockwise direction. Also remember to include the gate under the
rubber part. The exercise is finished only when the "needle" is placed in the "needle basket." If the order of the
"needle" through the gates is wrong, the cord will be too short and the exercise will not be successful.
Wanted result (achievement):
1 minute and 40 seconds
Recommended level before real operation:
Minimum 40 repetitions. Average of 10 best results should be below the wanted result (1 min and 40 seconds.)
Slalomer - Counterclockwise

How to execute:
The exercise starts with the “needle” in the “needle holder.” All 10 gates shall be
included. The closest first and then in natural order ,anti clockwise. The exercise is not finished unless
the “needle” is placed back in the “needle holder.” If performed in wrong order the cord will be too short
and the exercise will not be performed correct. Also remember the gate under the rubber
piece.
Time is measured from the instruments are visible and the “needle” is back in the “needle holder.”
Wanted result (achievement):
1 minute and 40 seconds
Recommended level before operation:
Minimum 40 repetitions. Average of 10 best results should be below the wanted result (1 min and 40 seconds.)
